Connolly Joins Nutter, McCLennen & Fish LLP

MARY CONNOLLY was hired as chief practice officer at the law firm Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP. She brings nearly two decades of practice management and business operations leadership and most recently was senior director at Zenith Legal, where she advised law firms on market mapping, talent strategy and practice expansion. In the new leadership post that Nutter created, Connolly will support the firm's growth and development of its professional team, and she'll collaborate with other executives on strategic planning, lateral attorney integration and investments in practice initiatives. "We didn't create this role to manage the firm we are today, but for the firm that we are building," co-managing partner Michael Scott said. "We have set an ambitious growth agenda across our practices and offices, and executing on it requires someone who can translate strategy into operational reality. Mary has done exactly that throughout her career, and she understands that growth only creates value when new people and new practices are genuinely integrated." Connolly previously worked as chief marketing and business development officer at the executive search firm Isaacson, Miller; international director of marketing and business development at the law firm Goodwin; and business development and practice group manager at the law firm Goulston & Storrs. Connolly holds an MBA from the University of Maryland.
