October 26, 2026
A former state energy official has joined one of northern New England's largest law firms. NED BARTLETT, who was undersecretary of energy and environmental affairs from January 2015 through August 2017, started working at Preti Flaherty's Boston office last month. "I'm excited to join Preti and collaborate with colleagues across the firm to help clients navigate complex regulatory challenges and advance critical energy, infrastructure, and environmental projects," Bartlett said. He was a long-time partner at Bowditch & Dewey, LLP before joining state government. He's also worked as chief compliance officer at Veolia North America and principal owner and attorney at NB Solutions, which provides commercial and regulatory legal advice, business advice and government relations. Bartlett earned his law degree and master's in environmental law and policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School.
