Santiago Joins Charles Street Strategies

JON SANTIAGO, former state representative and secretary of veterans services, joins the public affairs and lobbying firm Charles Street Strategies as senior advisor effective Thursday. Santiago continues to practice as an emergency medicine physician at Boston Medical Center. "Dr. Santiago has sat on both sides of the table, writing policy on Beacon Hill and running an agency that has to deliver on it," Matthew LeBretton, founder of Charles Street Strategies, said. "That combination of executive experience and legislative fluency is exactly what our clients need as they work through complex policy and regulatory challenges at the state level." In his new job, Santiago will focus on nonprofits, healthcare, and veterans and military affairs.
