Jones Joins American Family Insurance

After 18 years as senior director of policy and legislative affairs at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, PAUL JONES has joined American Family Insurance as principal government affairs specialist. Before joining BCBSMA in 2008, Jones was legal counsel for the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing in Massachusetts for a year and spent a few months as both an IPIOP clerk at the Electronic Privacy Information Center and as a law clerk for the Wisconsin Legislative Council. After his time at BCBSMA "and more than 20 in the world of health care, I'm looking forward to learning the magical world of property and casualty insurance," Jones wrote on LinkedIn. Jones is a Wisconsin native and will represent Madison-based American Family Insurance throughout New England and New York, according to the company.
