- Job Description The Chairman oversees the daily operations of the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission, which has general supervision of all aspects of the Alcoholic Beverages Industry in the Commonwealth. This supervision includes approving all alcoholic beverages licenses, conducting enforcement operations to ensure licensee compliance with the law, holding hearings relative to license violations, and holding hearings relative to appeals from decisions of the local licensing authorities. As a Deputy Treasurer, I oversee the Veterans Bonus Division, as well as the Unclaimed Property Division.
