Job Description Statutory position that collaborates with the State Treasurer to provide overall direction and leadership in the day-to-day operation of the Office of the State Treasurer, including oversight of the Commonwealth’s cash flow in a fiscally sound and responsible manner. Report directly to the State Treasurer. Designee of the State Treasurer to the National Association of State Treasurers, State Board of Retirement, Board of Bank Incorporation, PRIM, Children in Catastrophic Illness Fund, Lottery Commission, Massachusetts School Building Authority, Massachusetts Clean Water Trust and the Massachusetts Collectors and Treasurers Association. Collaborate with other Constitutional Offices and Legislature on priorities of the office. Work with banking and investment partners in areas of Cash and Debt Management. Responsible for overseeing and providing guidance in the management of multiple and diverse functions. Maintained departmental oversight of Cash and Debt Management, Treasury Administration and Finance, Clean Water Trust and four Deputy Treasurers.
